Our Yellow Lorry Marking Contour Tape, measuring 51mm x 50m, is crafted from all-acrylic material, ensuring exceptional strength and durability. This tape meets the European ECE-104 Class C specifications for contour marking films, making it ideal for application on trucks and trailers.

With a strong adhesive backing, it securely adheres to both rigid and curtain-sided vehicles. As of July 2011, contour marking has been made compulsory for new types/models of trucks with a maximum tonnage exceeding 7.5 tons, as well as for trailers with a tonnage of more than 3.5 tons. It is essential that the full rear contour is marked if the vehicle exceeds 2.1m in width.

The marking can be applied in red or yellow, with at least one line covering 80% of the total length required on the lower side of the vehicle. For vehicles longer than 6m, marking of the top corners is also necessary. Permitted colours for side markings include white and yellow, and vehicles featuring reflective graphics must have full contour marking. In cases where the vehicle's structure precludes full or partial contour marking, line marking is allowed, with red or yellow permitted for the rear and white or yellow for the sides.

This new legislation became effective on July 10, 2011, for all new registrations within the specified vehicle category.
