This high-quality Red Lorry Contour Marking Tape is specifically designed for use on curtain-sided vehicles. Constructed from all-acrylic material, it offers exceptional strength and durability, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Compliant with European ECE-104 Class C specifications, this contour marking tape is suitable for application on trucks and trailers. Its strong adhesive backing guarantees a secure application on both rigid and curtain-sided vehicles.

As of July 2011, contour marking is mandatory for new types and models of trucks (for which the manufacturer requests approval) with a maximum tonnage exceeding 7.5 tons, and for trailers weighing more than 3.5 tons. The full rear contour must be marked if the vehicle exceeds a width of 2.1 metres. Markings are available in red and yellow, with at least one line covering 80% of the total length required on the lower side of the vehicle. For vehicles longer than 6 metres, the top corners must also be marked.

Permitted colours for side markings include white and yellow, with the option to mark the full contour of the side. If the side of the vehicle features a reflective graphic, full contour marking becomes compulsory. Line marking is allowed if the vehicle's structure makes it impossible to apply full or partial contour marking in accordance with the relevant regulations. Red or yellow are acceptable for line marking at the rear, while white or yellow may be used for the sides.

This new legislation was implemented from July 10, 2011, applying to all new registrations within the specified vehicle category.
