The sign features a temperature-sensitive blue reflector that becomes visible as temperatures reach 2°C, fully revealing itself at -1°C. It operates without power and is virtually maintenance-free, significantly reducing the financial risks associated with personal injuries and supporting employers' 'Duty of Care' obligations to their employees.

As a simple visual indicator of imminent freezing conditions, the Ice Detector Sign employs a three-stage indication process. When temperatures are above 2°C, a grey indicator indicates normal conditions. As temperatures drop, the reflector transitions to warn of colder conditions, and when temperatures fall below -1°C, the reflector displays a full blue signal.

Manufactured from 3mm thick aluminium composite, these signs are both lightweight and durable. Each sign is equipped with channelling on the rear for easy post mounting, ensuring they are positioned at eye level for optimal visibility when entering or exiting a building or car park.
